MITA Cooling Technologies and Frigofluid at Chillventa 2026

MITA Cooling Technologies a Chillventa 2026

MITA Cooling Technologies and Frigofluid, MITA Group companies, present an ecosystem of integrated solutions at Chillventa to optimize thermal efficiency and the sustainability of water and energy resources: Hall 4, Stand 4-225. With a new focus: the tested quality of the machinery, thanks to the new MITA Group R&D Lab.

1. Low water-use adiabatic cooling: PAD-XL

The centerpiece of the MITA exhibition is the PAD-XL W, an adiabatic cooler designed to meet the challenges of large industrial plants and the HVAC-R sector.

The model on display is the PAD-XL-04. The flexibility of the series allows for configuring units with up to 20 fans for a thermal duty of up to 2,500 kW. The heart of the system is the integrated operating logic manageable via PLC, which activates the wetting of the adiabatic section only when strictly necessary, recovering the water required for adiabatic operation.

This air pre-cooling makes it possible to achieve lower fluid temperatures compared to a dry system, while eliminating the need for chemical water treatments. Indeed, this technology represents the ideal alternative to classic dry coolers, especially where it is necessary to guarantee high performance during summer thermal peaks without burdening water management costs.

2. Green refrigeration: Frigofluid's RW Chillers

Environmental sustainability also depends on the choice of refrigerants.

Frigofluid presents the RW range at Chillventa, air-cooled chillers designed to operate with eco-friendly gases like R32. The RP20 model, on display, highlights the Group’s ability to combine sustainability and performance.

Indeed, these cooling units comply with the latest revisions of EU regulations (such as No. 517/2014) and offer a low environmental impact thanks to gases that do not generate PFAS in the event of decomposition in the atmosphere. Equipped with scroll compressors and micro-channel condensers, the RP chillers are also ready for remote monitoring, enabling efficient management of the refrigeration plant.

3. The strength of MITA Group: a complete range

The joint participation at Chillventa reflects the identity of MITA Group, a European synergy that covers every heat exchange need. The Group’s offering includes:

  • Evaporative cooling towers (MITA Cooling Technologies) and “field-erected” towers for high flow rates (TORRAVAL Cooling).

  • Adiabatic coolers and dry coolers for water savings.

  • Process chillers and turnkey refrigeration systems (Frigofluid).

  • Specialized service and maintenance (Intercal Cooling) and design of complex energy systems (PWE Power Engineering).

This advisory approach makes it possible to accompany the customer from the preliminary evaluation of the plant through to its construction and remote management via an IoT platform.

4. Innovation and Research: the new R&D Lab

One of the key messages brought to Chillventa concerns quality assurance.

Starting from 2026, MITA Group is inaugurating its new R&D Lab, a state-of-the-art climate chamber designed to test the real performance of coolers and chillers. This laboratory is a research center intended to support the Group’s advisory approach.
