How does Alchemist, the adiabatic subcooler, work?

A fan draws in a portion of air from the outside environment and then runs it through a finned coil inside which circulates the refrigerant to be subcooled. This air is used for heat exchange and has a lower temperature than that of the outside environment because it is humidified (adiabatic principle). Adiabatic air cooling increases the efficiency of the system, especially in warm seasons. Thanks to the integrated management logic, Alchemist automatically adjusts the fan speed and humidification cycles of the adiabatic section, reducing energy and water use as much as possible.
