MITA Presents the MCE Evaporative Condenser at Refrigera 2025

MITA a Refrigera 2025

BOLOGNA, Italy – On the occasion of Refrigera 2025, a meeting point for the refrigeration sector in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean, MITA Cooling Technologies will present itself to industry professionals to address key needs such as energy efficiency, operational reliability, and ease of maintenance. The company will focus on presenting concrete solutions for plants, with a particular focus on the MCE evaporative condenser, designed to optimize industrial refrigeration processes.

The fair, which will be held at Bologna Fiere from November 5 to 7, 2025, will see MITA participating at Booth F20, Hall 30.

1. MCE Evaporative Condenser: A Concrete Answer to Efficiency and Maintenance

The MCE condenser is engineered for the condensation of refrigerant gases, especially ammonia (NH3), particularly in industrial refrigeration and HVAC/R systems. Its function combines the condenser and the cooling tower into a single machine, with the goal of reducing footprint and energy consumption.

The technical features of the MITA MCE condenser are designed to meet the operational needs of plants:

  • High energy efficiency: The design of the MCE series and its optimization through dedicated software qualify its performance. As confirmation, the series has been included in the UK’s Energy Technology List (ETL), a government database that identifies the most energy-efficient products. This places the MCE in the top 25% of the most efficient products in its market category, supporting companies in reducing operating costs.

  • Refrigerant versatility: The machine is designed to operate with various gases, including ammonia (NH3), an efficient natural refrigerant widely used in industrial plants.

  • Robustness and longevity: To ensure durability even in demanding industrial conditions, the structure is made of hot-dip galvanized steel and the machine body is made of fiberglass sandwich panels.

  • Simplified maintenance: The walls are completely removable to allow direct and easy access to internal components, facilitating routine and extraordinary inspection and maintenance operations.

  • Low noise levels: The direct-drive axial ventilation system is designed to contain noise, with the option of installing optional sound-absorbing silencers for contexts requiring minimal acoustic impact.

  • Wide thermal capacity range: The series covers a capacity range from 80 kW to 3.8 MW, adapting to plants of different sizes.

To facilitate design, MITA also provides BIM files for the MCE products listed in the ETL.
